D is for Dreams (REM Edition)

So today I'm going to talk about dreams!  I'm obsessed with dreams!  I love any type: lucid, nightmare, etc...  They're all so much fun to write down and record and save for a later day.  I've been recording my dreams for a year and I've decided to tell you the top 5 things I dream about that I've jotted down.  Enjoy!

5. Wizard101 (online game)
4. Good friend
3. My hometown
2. My pets
1. School

I put school at number 1 because I always dream about it!  And it usually isn't a positive thing.  Most my dreams that concern school are of me failing a class, getting a bad grade on a test, or getting negative feedback from a teacher.  And the deal with dreaming about my good friend is strange.  Most my dreams are about texting each other or me trying to talk but end up failing.  Don't even get me started on Wizard101.  Apparently at the time I played so much that it even consumed my dreams.  There are plenty of other things I dream about but unfortunately that would take up a lot of time!  So in the comments tell me some of the things you notice recurring in your dreams!

  1. I used to regularly dream about these ghost dogs who would chase me, and I could turn them back into regular dogs by giving them clean water.

Wonder what that says about by psyche.

  2. I always having vivid dreams, and sometimes it gets really annoying. I just started a new job that's pretty high stress and I've dreamt about it nearly every night for a month! gah!

    1. That's how it usually is with school and it annoys me whenever there's a test and I dream about getting a D on it! Makes me even more anxious for the test.

  3. I dream a lot about things I know I should do but haven't gotten around to yet - like, I might think for days about how I need to email a friend about meeting up, and then i have a really vivid dream in which I write and send that email.

Aside from that, I dream a lot about my work. I write books for kids and teens, and I dream a lot about my teen novels while I'm working on them. It's pretty cool, actually - sometimes I work out plot issues in my dreams! The trick is remembering it long enough to write it all down.

I'm a fellow A-Zer. Nice to "meet" you!

    1. Quite interesting that you can visualize characters in a book in your dreams. Then it would be a matter of jotting it down. It's nice to meet you too!

  4. We live on an island attached by a bridge (concrete one now). When it was covered bridge, I'd dream about the bridge being washed out and being separated from my family..weird eh?
Regardless of our dreams it's vitally important that we do dream!
I love your A-C posts too. I'm a new follower.

    1. That's exactly how it is with school, so many negative dreams about it.

  5. Wizard 101 sounds interesting, though I rarely have time to play games. I don't often remember my dreams. maybe I should start a dream journal.:)
